You have to love little ol Granny boots! These ones I found at Old Navy are perfect! I am so glad that they have a zipper up the side. This way I don’t have to lace them up each time I put them on. I have a feeling these boots will be on constant rotation. Do you have any items on constant rotation in your closet?

For a long time I use to be a silver girl. I would only wear silver jewelry. Now I have gotten past that and enjoy gold as well. So why not mix silver and gold jewelry together? It looks fresh, and is a different spin on things. If you want to be really crazy you could mix rose gold in there as well!

One thing I enjoy about fashion is how it repeats itself. Take this dress I bought from Zara in New York 6 years ago. I haven’t worn it for a couple of years and was about to get rid of it. Then I realized it was spot on for fall. Now only if my husband could understand this concept. He would understand why I hold onto some pieces for so long.

Happy Anniversary.

It is our 3 year anniversary today. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for my amazing husband. He is my best friend, and I am so happy to have him share adventures with.

This past weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving. Lots of turkey, and lots of love. I felt this dress with apples in fall colors was appropriate to wear to dinner. I had to layer it since it is more of a summer dress.

I am so thankful for my sweet husband, my family, and a loving God. Hope you fellow Canadians had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

How awesome are these two pieces I found thrifting? Also bonus this skirt is real leather and cost me something like $8.00. How do you feel about leather skirts? My husband wasn’t so sure about it, haha. Oh well, too bad for him.

p.s- do you ever have awkward moments when people are watching you get your picture taken? True fact: some guy was watching us tonight, made awkward conversation and then prompted to tell me to “take it all off”. Awkward…Needless to say we were all of a sudden finished taking pictures.
